Released seven years after Digital Playground's poor attempt at comedy "Fly Girls", this straight-ahead crime feature shows pornographer Dick Bush ready to tackle mainstream B-filmmaking, though like so many others before him he's tagged (perhaps forever) as an Adult industry director.
The story plays well and the acting is top-notch in a tale of double crossing criminals that follows the "reductio ad absurdum" format I associate with the late Brit director Michael Winner, remembered for his hit "Death Wish" rather than his excellent UK projects. At film's end all of the major cast players have been killed, with minimal gore but more violence than is typical of modern porn.
Jasmine Jae is quite effective as a villainess, pulling several scams on airline magnate Marcus London, while confederates Danny D and his sister Nicolette Shea (fabulous new American blonde bombshell, who also crossed the pond to shoot DP's "The New Girl" opposite Mr. D around the same time) have their own crooked enterprise of stealing jets to sell for their parts.
The fly girls (stewardesses) of the original film are represented by Danny's fake stewardesses embodied by Aletta Ocean and Black newcomer Jai James, both immensely effective in their sex scenes. All four leading ladies have huge fake boobs, and oversize butts to match, making for high quality XXX content.
But I also enjoyed the suspenseful derring do, refreshingly given equal weight to the sex vignettes that the fans demand. Nacho Vidal, who excelled in a previous Bush action movie "Monarch" is quite good as another bad guy, while a host of extras, some of them with speaking parts, go uncredited.
