Pure South Indian drama of a king who fought against cruel British Army to save his people & family from being captive. Action sequences are good although they are highly overrated. Many times your guessing will be perfect. Strategy of battle on a fort is very good. Inspired by Bahubali. Melodrama continues till ending moment of the movie. Casting is perfect. Chiranjeevi did his best in the role of Narsimha Reddy. Tamanna looking good. Nayantara is average. Amitabh is wasted. Movie is watchable at once but bewares from its length. You have to wait nearly 3 hours to finish the movie.

The story is about the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
He is the first to fight against the British from the Telugu region it is a great patriotic saga and a visual spectacle that leaves a tremendous mark thanks to its plot, Chiranjeevi's performance and massy execution. At the box office, it has the potential to succeed but don't compare with bahubali this movie is good to watch one time ..

Assuming as a fictional story with grand birth to grand death, it is worth to see. Don't wait to watch in laptop as this movie is made for cinema. Story wise bit like mangal panday.

Epic movie with Mega action. Screen play and supporting actors role enhancing the interest of Audience about the story. Chiranjeevi again showed his power in action scenes.
From the style, dress, graphic, acting all was super but i doesn't feel that impact. It's because of totall movie was dominating by hero itself. Should give some space to other characters as well. There are many characters just for screen appearance. Anyway it's a nice movie but just don't have enough impact.

I am trying to find the words for the performance of all the artists in this movie. Initially i thought why Mega Star Chiru is portraying as Narasimha Reddy instead of Ram Charan but he proved me wrong, he is Astonishing, he is a treat to watch.
A great performance from the legend himself.
And after him i like tamannah performance, she is gorgeous and my eyes couldn't look at the other artist while she is on the screen. Love you tamannah. For the First 30 minutes movie lags little bit but it picks up from there and there is no looking back especially the interval and second half.
Please do watch this movie in the big screen and feel the goosebumps throughout the movie.

Syeraa Narasimha Reddy!
Amazing film. I have been waiting for this one for a while and finally got to see it. Loved it. This film has a lot going for it. It started out well and got better and better with each segment.
What an amazing cast. All the actors carried their role masterfully. Chiranjeevi is too good. He looks amazing. In some scenes he looks so cool. The scene where we first see Chiranjeevi doing yoga under water. Superb! He looks like a superhero in his Narshimha avatar.
There are many action scenes and they are done well. The action scene right before the intermission is superb. And the action scene right after the intermission is intense.
There are few goose bumps moments in the film. The film assembled an amazing cast. Tamannaah Bhatia has done amazing job. Sudeep looks like a warrior walked out of the epic Mahabharat. I really wanted to see more of him. His character is one of my favorites in the film. Vijay Sethupathi , Amitabh Bachchan both were amazing as well.
The first part of the film deals with life of Narasimha Reddy as chief but the second part takes on a larger view shows us the rebellion and the people involved.
There are many aspect of the film that I liked. Most noteworthy is that by the time the credit rolls it ignited a spark of patriotism and appreciation for people like Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

Sye raa Narasimha Reddy
.
We were three watching the movie everyone have different view. Interval time Behind us one was saying waste of money and after interval some people was satisfied somewhere and some was not.
So we were three, 2/3 said after movie time pass and boring, I was saying good movie. See if you watch this movie and see all the things around movie, you'll remember Bahubali and start comparing both but both are different this movie is about freedom of Indian and true story, bahubali was fictional so can't compare.
Acting/Stunts and Sound is good. Some Scenes are overhyped. Sometimes it bores too. That's it.
. Watch it if u are fan of Cheeranjeevi or you like true stories of India's freedom.
I'm not south indian but I like South Movies and I watched it 'coz its a true story somewhere.

One of the best movies from India based on a true story and a great balance of historical evidence and cinematic effects. Overall, standing ovation to Chiranjeevi Sir! No one else, even young actors cannot portray this character. Chiranjeevi Sir added his charisma and grace to the character and added more energy to the movie. Most people are saying slow start, but I think it is needed to build the stage for the actual story. There is no question that Chiranjeevi Sir deserves national award and movie should be selected to Oscars for best foreign movie category as well.
Good movie good acting but poor characterization make these movie bad...why did you choose Amitabh & Vijay sethupathi for those small characters...poor characterization

Chiru's stunning performance. epic film. remarkable performance by megastar. every one in the movie has a role to play for. A must watch for every Indian.
Chiranjeevi's eyes are enough to prove the mammoth of mass and class. Flawless, energetic even at 60 you name it!After Rajinikanth and kamal hassan, he's among the aging yet ageless actors of South. Being grand in the budget, sye raa lacks the consistency in writing. Except Chiranjeevi, all other characters were thin and almost forgettable!
The writing of the screenplay and shaping of the characters was so bad that when there is a threat to the protagonist and his allies, there is no sense of fear in the audience's mind because Narasimha Reddy is granted a Demi-god status so audience are just made to believe that he'll snap out of any threat even when the threat is colossal!
But still for the gigantic production value, beautiful visuals, background score and of course for the megastar himself, the film is watchable even more than once despite the flaws in the writing!

#FinalVerdict
SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy is a king-sized extravaganza expressly designed to be a blockbuster. The scale is colossal, the plot is invigorating & the outcome leaves you mesmerized. Don't miss it!
It is an experience that should be enjoyed on the big screen.
Scale of ambition (Director: Surrender Reddy): Gargantuan.
Quality of VFX (R C Kamalakannan): Out of the ordinary.
Content (Paruchuri brothers): Gripping.
That, in a nutshell, is the epic SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy.
SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy manages to enchant you with its sheer scale & grandeur. Director Surrender Reddy has given acute attention to detail for the minutest of sound and visuals. He ensures that the larger-than-life execution matches his grandiose vision. Though this swashbuckling adventure relies heavily on CGI & VFX, SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy manages to be much more than a blood-soaked romp because it is seeped in Indian ethos while the drama is garnished with several awe-inspiring sequences & jaw-dropping visuals. The writing is smart & clever, the episodes are ingeniously integrated in the screenplay & the culmination leaves you spellbound. It has an unfaultable start, A1 middle and applaudable end, which is a rarity as far as Indian films go.
After watching the dubbed Hindi version, I feel that filmmakers should avoid dubbing films in different languages & rather release them with subtitles. The editing (Sreekar Prasad) could've been tighter as SyeRaa clocks on the dot at 170 minutes. The wondrous cinematography (R. Rathnavelu) and grandiose production design (Rajeevan) impart sheen & sparkle. Julius Packiam's BGM is electrifying. Lee Whittaker, Greg Powell & Ram Chella-Lakshman Chella's exhilarating action portions command repeat viewing.
Director Surrender Reddy is a consummate craftsman. He skilfully uses rousing BGM, slow-motion technology and several clap-trap moments to sweep you up in the filmmaking. An Indian filmmaker dared to dream & the results are for all to see.
SyeRaa has BRAVURA performances. Amitabh Bachchan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ravi Kishan, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi, Kiccha Sudeep, Nayanthara, Anushka Shetty, Mukesh Rishi, every actor triumphs. Megastar Chiranjeevi's sheer mien & intensity is a sight to behold. A committed, extraordinary act!
On the whole, SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy is a cinematic extravaganza, indeed. A big screen spectacle that will keep you hooked with some incredible characters that are sure to stay with you for a long, long time. A feast for moviegoers! Courage, bravery, valour, fearlessness, SyeRaa encompasses all this and more!

The story is too much Fictionalised...and it is not near to the original story.
Do u think Chiranjeevi is some Jetli fighting with a sword...shame on storywriter and photography. Though surender reddy a good director but not to his mark.
The movie can be given 5/10 if u think it is just like a fiction story on Indian Independence. And amitabh need not to be present in the movie (wasted).
But i can give barely 2/10 Pros: Chiranjeevi Acting Cons: Story, direction

Surendher Reddy directed the movie very well, all the cameos are perfect and well played by each character.
The worst cleache movie story and movie I have ever seen.
This is my first Review and you can expect why I'm writing this.
Btw, I'm writing this review while watching this movie on theatre.
Syeraa Narasimha Reddy is a superb movie based on the real life story of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy although with cinematic liberties.
Chiranjeevi shows why he is a megastar.
Surender Reddy is a gem of a director.
Tamannah's dance & role is spectacular.
Everyone should watch this movie on the first civil rebellion of India.

Its a story of syraa narasimha reddy and its just a chiranjeevi show.Thamanna scored in many parts and sudeep too just a small score. While other castings were just for promotions. The first half and interval was good and coming to the second half,it became predictable (nothing engaging).Atlast as a viewer of the movie i can say this movie is just an entertainer and just a one time watchable movie.
