Some funny jokes and a cute queen gave me good laughs...I didn't expect more, so I couldn't be that dissapointed. The animation is quite good for a european movie and the queen and his husband look hilarous :)
The Queen's Corgi is one of the worst animated films I have seen in quite some time, and it's also one of the strangest, most uncomfortable and unfunny movies I've seen in my life. The only reason this has anything above a 1/10 is because the animation actually has effort placed into it, which is surprising for a film like this. Usually with really shoddy animated movies the animation is one of the main reasons why it sucks so much (Food Fight, etc.), but here it seems like they actually took their time to make the movie at least look somewhat acceptable. However, this movie is dragged down by it's utterly incompetent script, terrible jokes, awful and downright controversial adult humour and cookie cutter story. When your movie that is so very obviously aimed at kids with it's concept and marketting has Donald Trump saying the lines "Go grab some puppy", you have probably failed as a human being. It's fine to make adult jokes in kids entertainment and animation in general because they need to appeal to adults in some way to break the barriers of just being a kids film, but this film goes WAY too far with it and we get some really crude and uncomfortable jokes and scenes. Also, did I mention that this movie has an insane female dog who sexually harasses the main character? That's DEFINITELY suitable for a kids film. Please do not waste your time with this, you will regret ever paying money to see it, hell, I didn't even pay money to see it because I saw a pirated version online due to it releasing early in America. That's how much I didn't care for this movie, and I was still disappointed by something I didn't even have high hopes for.
And were surprised about it. We had heard lots of criticism and can empathise with where these opinions came from. But, this just tickled us (early to middle aged Brits) as we've got a childish sense of humour.
Let yourself have very low expectations of this film but also be open to a bit of nonsense laughter and I'm certain you'll enjoy this one more than you should.

We were more than excited to watch this movie. The trailer seemed very promising. What a disappointment it was. The beginning was ok but the rest was just dreadful. This is not children's movie. Many inappropriate jokes your child should not hear.
All in all what a waste of potential and money. They spent 20 mln to create this? Not worth it. Do not bother. If you enjoyed the Paddington movie then this is not for you. This movie is definitely not for 6-7-8 years old children.

This is a perfectly adequate movie for all the family. There are some amusing moments, nice cameos and although the story is fairly predictable it should keep everyone entertained on a rainy Sunday. It's not as good as Paddington and it's not aiming for an Oscar but I have no idea where all these 1 star reviews are coming from - or the accusations that it is full of drugs'n'sex (LOL!) There were more drug references in a 5 minute episode of the Magic Roundabout than the one (implied) comment here. The "violence" is threatened and no dogs were hurt during the filming of this movie etc. etc. If you or your child enjoyed A Dogs Purpose, you'll probably like this.

- TriviaWhen the Queen's servants are preparing Buckingham Palace for Donald Trump's visit, they place a bottle of Coca-Cola on the table. If you read the label carefully, it actually says "Cov-Fefe" stylized in the Coca-Cola font. This is in reference to a humorous spelling mistake the real President Trump made in one of his Twitter postings.
- GoofsDonald Trump doesn't have a dog in real life.
- Crazy creditsThe first closing credits are shown next to royal paintings of the royal couple, Buckingham Palace, the dogs etc.
