If you like that light french like comedies, this movie will not disappoint you. It has a decent plot, very original scenes, some scenes that don't make much sense as well and are not that funny, but most of the movie will make you laugh or at least smile. In my opinion, this is not the best work of Philippe Chauveron, Bad Serial Weddings was superior. The main theme is similar: the intercultural prejudice. A lot of old cliches that are refreshed with a nice sense of humor. I recommend it. It's a 7/8 for me.

No pun intended - and one of the criticisms many have when they hear others talk about welcoming people and giving them shelter and many other things. So our main character here is being challenged: you are open minded? Put your money where your mouth is (quite literally speaking). And he bites ... sort of. Because he doesn't think anything will come of it.
And the show begins. Or the comedy, because the clash of cultures and status (rich/poor) works quite well. There may have been better movies that showcase that, better comedies even, but this is still quite fun. The movie has a good cast and everyone is doing a good job throughout.
Suspend your disbelief, lower your expectations and see the "homeless" (wanderers? Not sure if there is a politically correct term and I only say that because some people may get or be offended either way) "invade" the rich ... a feelgood movie with some obstacles to say the least.

"With Open Arms - À bras ouverts" is a Comedy movie in which we watch an open-mind intellectual who supports and understands very well the struggles of Roma. Soon he faces a Romani family that starts living in his yard and uses them as a proof and to support his beliefs.
I liked this movie because it had a simple but nice plot and in general I found it very funny. It's a nice comedy movie to spend your time with and of course to laugh. The interpretations of both Christian Clavier who played as Jean-Etienne Fougerole and Ary Abittan who played as Babik were simply amazing and the differences between the two characters in the movie created many funny moments. Some other interpretations that have to be mentioned were Elsa Zylberstein's who played as Daphné Fougerole, Cyril Lecomte's who played as Erwan Berruto and Armen Georgian who played as Ravi. Finally, I have to say that I recommend everyone to watch this movie because I am sure that you will enjoy it and you will laugh a lot.

What you need to know about this film: It has a white french actor playing a black-face Indian servant. Because this is a movie against political correctness gone wrong / over the top.
It is pretty simple: Roma Sinti (Romanian Gipsies I guess?) enter a rich pretentious socialists life and all sorts of uh la la happens. One thing happens after another followed by more things, yes that is how exciting this film is. Actually the performances are really good, the script is just lacking that 'Le clever' thing I come to expect from French cinema. Below average but the main actors do give it their all.

Whoa! what a wave of laugh. Best comic movie of the year. Christian is the best parody of Bernard Henry Levy. A must see..Some many scene and dialog will become cult. The best part is the arrival. The movie has been deemed racist by the Franch Socialist Socialite and it is not in any way. It is just a parody of the French Socialist Intelligentsia.
