Okay, I admit I was very harsh in a review I wrote a year ago about this show which was very negative and just plain harsh.
I admit even though this show may not be as violent or intense as Young Justice or the original Justice League. But I admit it is still a very good show to watch and very fun as well.
Even though I am generally not a fan of 11 minute formats for a cartoon I admit it actually works here. Plus unlike Teen Titans Go ot the Ben 10 reboot this show is actually watchable, has good action and has decent jokes which can make me laugh. I admit there were some bad episodes and some episodes there wasn't that much seriousness. But if it had more seasons I believe it would have gradually got better.
The voice cast is good and animation and art style wise good.
Also unlike DC Super Hero Girls or Teen Titans Go! this show is a good way to get younger kids into the DC universe. Overall, if you want something lighter or want to get your younger kids into the DC Universe I would recommend this and Batman the brave and the bold.

Let's get this clear, this is not young justice or voltron legendary defender, this is just a 10- minute episode cartoon that has no character development or story, but has a striking balance of humour and action. I hope the episodes get a little longer, because what I'm seeing is an instant gratification of a lot of good action and exposition. While I disliked the animation at first I can safely say now that it works quite well for the story and has some nostalgia of Bruce timms art style, and indeed, the art director did work for Bruce Timm. The cartoon mainly consists of shorts that revolve around the insanely big DC gallery of heroes and villains, were it quickly starts with an action scene, and ends with a punchline, but that doesn't mean it's not fun, I'm actually surprised at the balance they managed to reach. You don't get bored, and these 10 minutes end up being one of the finer times you spent in your day. All in all batman the brave and the bold ( the closes series to this, if not its original inspiration) has a finer art style and a longer more consistent plot, the only nitpick I have with this is like I said, too short. But for now, in this lackluster era of animation, I'm only enjoying Tmnt and voltron, and this is a fine addition to watch, surprisingly recommended.
I think there are lot of characters in DC universe that do not get the spotlight that I think they deserve.By showing us new characters they are giving us a chance to explore DC Universe and some of the interesting characters in it.
This series could be a great starting point for many characters. Not just the heroes but some of the Villeins in it are very interesting if you start learning about them.I think there is scope for more characters in the future. So, I hope this series continues the good work going.
I have heard that the series is going to have 52 episodes for the 1st season. So,Can't wait to see the future episodes and future seasons.

After the likes of Justice League Unlimited and Young Justice this show is pitiful. I know it's aimed at younger audiences but it's a poor watered down copy of the exceptional series that came before. I really don't get the high praise. It's watered down pablum without depth or substance. Highly recommend following the #JLReunion hashtag and fight for a return to the quality of Unlimited.
After seeing the promo pics I was disappointed with the art style. I decided to give it a chance nonetheless and was really pleasantly surprised.
The show is high tempo with good doses of comedy that made me laugh on several occasions. The story line was also entertaining, although I could fault one part for being a ripoff from an earlier animated Justice League episode.
In the end the I think the art style works really well for what it wants to accomplish and it ends up being maybe the best animated superhero show so far.
Really recommend this show and hoping the next episodes are as great as the first.

- TriviaActors Mark Hamill (Joker) and Kevin Conroy (Batman) have both played these characters for over 25 years. Both actors have repeatedly said that they were "retired" from voicing the characters. Hamill has said that while he enjoyed every minute of being the Joker, the years of voice work had put a huge strain on his voice and that someone else should have the opportunity to "don the psychopathic clown". Both Hamill and Conroy have stated that at their age the repetitive nature of the characters had become tiring. Both did say if there were ever a great story to reprise each character, they'd return. In addition to this series each returned for Batman: Arkham Knight and the animated film, Batman: The Killing Joke.
