The darkness will surround you.

The cast did well and the director did a good job at working with what they had. My favorite part of the movie was that the darkness itself became a character. Good movie.

A low budget treat for you HPL fans

I liked the film which seems definitely influenced.by the writer/director's enthusiasm for HP Lovecraft and his horrifying stories. I thought the actors did good work and the story was involving. If you like sci fi horror with weird critters and landscapes and which takes you to an alien universe, I think you'll enjoy this film. It is low budget so do not expect a sci fi extravaganza with enormous special effects but the writer/director does make good use of practical 'in camera' effects. I won't reveal the plot other than to say that a sister looks for her missing twin and gets a great deal more than she bargained for when she set out on the search.
