Review of Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle

For a moment, I thought Kenma was going to have his Joe Yabuki moment! The makers made a good decision by adapting the Dumpster Battle match into a single film instead of making a whole season out of it. I haven't read the manga, but I can say that the match didn't lack anything that the previous seasons had. It follows a similar structure with character arcs, flashbacks, and thrilling moments. I hope either the final film is longer than this or that there are more films lined up to cover the rest of the chapters because there are quite a lot of them left to animate. Overall, this film delivers an enjoyable experience for all fans.
