No pun intended - what do we know though? Well if you have seen some of the movies the director has done (even the ones he denies he has done - which he kind of disapproves with putting scenes from an X rated picture in this one) ... you know what to kind of expect. Though since this has not survived in its entirety (as the disc states I won from the box set) ... there may have been more X rated stuff that were shot for this.
As it is, it feels weird ... putting a new character into a movie from the 70s he did (Red Heat was the title of that one). Actually it makes more sense to watch that - which I have argued might be one of his best ever! Not seen all his work, so I can't judge that entirely. So him watching in on people going at it ... but nothing explicit in the short version I got to see ... not that it matters I reckon ... this is a weird curiosity and I reckon fits the movies Steckler did by that definition.

Face of Evil (2003)
* 1/2 (out of 4)
This 64-minute film from Ray Dennis Steckler was considered lost for many years and I really couldn't find much information on it outside of an interview that the director gave to the website CrazedFanBoy. In the interview the director talks about his friend Will Long playing the lead but the actor ended up dying shortly afterwards so the project went on the back burner. For the most part it really does come across as a complete film in regards to the action as we basically just see Long walking around and killing various women. There's no sound, no dialogue and we're just given some horrid music, which is a real negative because this thing might have been somewhat better had Steckler really been able to finish it. As is, the movie isn't going to be worth viewing by most except for fans of the director. I found it interesting because there's footage from two of Steckler's porn movies (RED HEAT and SEX RINK) added in here as the "killer" is basically "watching" people, which is the footage from the movies. Considering Steckler denied making these porn movies, it's clear that wasn't the case. The film is pretty hard to watch in its current form due to it not really being complete but fans of the director will still want to check it out. It seems the footage here was shot in the 1970's, although the copyright at the end states 2003.

- CuriosidadesThe director on this title: "I started a film with an actor friend of mine named Will Long. About three or four days into the film he caught hepatitis and within a few days he had died. It just shocked me and I had to put the film aside. Fortunately I had shot a scene from the beginning, a scene from the middle, and a scene from the end of the film. So I had those but I had nothing else. A few years later I started another film with a girlfriend, a stripper named Lovie Goldmine. I starting making a slasher movie with her and about fifty percent of the way through the film she told me she had to leave town immediately. She took her kids and disappeared and I never heard from her again. She was a wonderful person. I hope she sees this and contacts me. I didn't have the ending filmed so I had to fake it with Carolyn Brandt playing her part. I crossed footage between the two films. It was an experiment so in both movies you see some of the same footage. It really blows your mind. I made twenty-five copies of these films on video and then I destroyed the master."
