I have watched alot since this show so my memories are becoming vague of the show but Rebecca Jones Faviola was a well dressed scene stealer.

While I liked the story and the majority of the characters, not once did I cheer on the main female lead. I felt she was too arrogant, rude, disrespectful and conniving from the beginning and never felt like she was the "one." I was actually rooting against her the whole time. I liked Jencarlos in this. I thought he displayed the conflict he felt deep down really well. Some of the side stories were more entertaining. The amount of family betrayal that goes on between love, business, etc in telenovelas always surprises me.

Would liked to have seen another season, so sad Mónica Spear is no longer with us.

One of the most well-written and well-acted telenovelas ever produced. Famed director Vicente Albarracín described Pasión Prohibida's script as 'extraordinary'. Critics have lauded Jencarlos Canela's performance here as probably the best in his career. It also stars (the now late) Monica Spear, whom critics described as one of the best actresses of her generation. So popular was this show that a second season was planned, work on which was stopped only upon the tragic death of Spear, the lead actress.

I found Pasión Prohibida refreshingly intelligent, masterfully subtle, addictive and devoid of the tiresome clichés and tropes so common to the genre. It is a slow burn, but completely engaging - in every scene moving forward with precision and excellent story-telling.

I think this is the 4th time i see the series. I feel like the story for Bianca and Bruno is one of the mots passionate one i ever saw on tv. Great Story however i wished for a happy ending for this couple honestly.
