Wow, it seems somebody at Nickelodeon watched "Logan".
And while "Logan" is an excellent movie, trying to do a kid-friendly version of that film as a conclusion for the rather light-hearted 2012 version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles just doesn't work for me.
Not to mention, there is no resolution for some loose ends from the previous episodes, and doesn't even bothers to do any mention of the ultimate fate of the main characters besides of the Ninja Turtles themselves: April and Karai are completely ignored here, despite their important role in several chapters from the rest of the series.
The 2012 version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had everything to be the best iteration of the franchise, and started very well, but these final episodes (And this finale TV special in particular) were frankly lackluster and disappointing.
