The first half of Gamers! Is a highly intriguing and fun to watch romance anime that does interesting things with it's characters. As a gamer myself I thought it was a great angle to have each character have different reasons for enjoying playing games, but still bond over a love for gaming as a whole. I also appreciated how the romance developed about halfway through rather than being dragged out till the end like most of these shows do. Unfortunately the second half opts to annoy you by having the most egregious example of "miscommunication leads to drama" that I have ever seen. The degree that it is done here leads me to believe that they were going for a comedic effect, but if that the case they grossly overestimated the patience that viewers like myself have for that sort of thing. All that being said I thought it ended well, and I enjoyed the majority of it. Since it is only 12 episodes, I would still recommend it for at least a one time watch, with a warning for the second half.
I went to watch this anime without commitment and I was surprised because in addition to being a very fun mood, it's done in an intelligent way, my only negative point is that it doesn't have the second season and the story was unfinished and I was very sad because I expected to know what would happen after 11 episodes because the last one (12) is just a fan service Good despite being an anime called GAMERS! This anime focus is to show the social life of a GAMER and otaku (person Addicted to something) This anime has some PLOT Twist done in a smart and very fun way. I recommend watching without any expectations just like me and being surprised.
I got to say that I honestly really enjoyed this show. It was a nice blend of funny and dorky and I smiled my way through all 12 episodes. Though I didn't understand all the references due to my newbie status to gaming, I did find them fun to pick out. The show rides on a bunch of wacky misunderstandings between the five main characters that pretty much lead to everyone thinking someone is cheating on someone. Though it's definitely a plot device to move the story along I did find them decently entertaining. I highly recommend if you enjoy shows like School Rumble.
Still anime was nice, but it barely featured any gaming tbh.It was pretty good in terms of romance in the show and the plot was pretty good. The characters are nice in my opinion.BUT
This anime has a lot of unfinished things,so maybe they will release a season two.The only thing that I didn't like was the ending of it.Yes,they cleared the thing 50/50 but still I was kinda shocked to see that was the ending.
But overall a solid anime to watch.Worth binge watching.
Gamers! is actually pretty good, despite what other reviewers are claiming. It's categorised as romance, and comedy, so of course it will focuse on both elements the most. Games are more of a background, but at the same time, they do influence story a lot. It's not like they're there just for the sake of being there.
I recommend watching. Give it a chance.
