J.J. Hillard

J.J.'s film noir comedic short "Counterfeit" was entered in film competitions as of 2023. It has won and/or placed in several categories. He won a 2-yr. Writers Boot Camp fellowship from Creative Screenwriting Mag. based on a comedy short. His sci-fi script "My Stardust" is a top Coverfly short, a WeScreenplay/Diverse Voices winner, and a PAGE Awards top-10 finalist. He has braved online screenwriting courses from UCLA Extension and ScreenwritingU. His goal is to write scripts about the impacts on people of advancements in science & technology. He'd like to write on shows like Star Trek, Black Mirror, BSG, The Expanse, Firefly, and/or Fringe.
