Miranda Jane Green, archaeologist and art historian, graduated from
Trinity College, Dublin. She was a professor of archaeology and Celtic
studies at the School of History and Archaeology, University of Wales,
College of Cardiff, and Lecturer in Archaeology and Head of Research in
Humanities, University of Wales College Newport. She wrote several
books on ancient beliefs, including 'Exploring the World of Druids',
'Dictionary of Celtic Myths and Legends', and 'Gods of the Celts'.
