He started playing percussion instruments at a young age in the choir before picking up the drumset. He is a well-rounded musician whose works have crossed many borders.
He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama London, and later gained a scholarship to study further at the University where he graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Music Performance & Arts Management. He further proceeded to acquire a Masters in Film Music Composition. Miller has led successful worship teams and taught many young drummers and musicians who are now professionals in their own disciplines. He has also taught at various music workshops, seminars and Christian music institutions.
Miller resides in London with family. He was nominated for the African Gospel Music Award in the Jazz category. Regarded as "a man with great vision and foresight", he launched Miller's Jazz Lounge at the famous 02 Arena in London. A dinner jazz style venue where some of the top jazz and gospel musicians perform eclectic blend of music genres to audience from around the world. Miller has also worked extensively on London Jazz Scene playing festivals, theatres and corporate events with his jazz quartet and many features in jazz combos. Today, he works as a Music Director, Drummer, Artistic Coordinator and Children Educator who writes TV programmes for children and continues to conduct music sessions for children in schools around London and other parts of the UK.
Working With Children Children around London call him "Uncle Miller". Miller works with children in nurseries and preschools around the UK, using elements of creative art such as music, painting, dance with the EYFS statutory standards to bring the very best out of young children. Practitioners, parents and children love his music sessions. He believes children are born ready to learn and take on board many unique things and there is a tendency for some not so good things to want to crawl in due to environment. So, for this reason he has written a body of work that are impacting children's growth around the world. Miller has adapted the EYFS four themes: A UNIQUE CHILD + POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP + ENABLING ENVIRONMENT = LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT to write educational materials for children in the Early Years including PLAYING and EXPLORING, ACTIVE LEARNING, CREATING and THINKING CRITICALLY. There are many things that make Miller a unique Children Educator and a first-call Artistic Director including his ability to quickly identify a child's need, stimulating children's interest towards learning, patience and a true heart for children amongst others. Miller's passion for children's education, moral development and spiritual growth has inspired what is now known as Kingdom Children Mission, launched in 2013. He wrote the acclaimed work "ULTIMATE NURSERY RHYMES & POSITIVE CHILDREN SONGS" cartoon animation DVD and CD. The work includes Nursery circle songs, & children rhymes. The videos received about 300,000 YouTube views within a couple of months and got positive feedbacks from Parents and Childcare Practitioners. He continues to improve the Mission's first published work to its Phase 2 "Children Praise Worship Songs". Miller is currently working on "Introducing Children To Music" a video that introduce young children to musical instruments, singing, folktales and other elements of music.
