Massachusetts-born Jean Rogers had hoped to study art in New York and Europe upon graduation from high school, but her plans changed when she won a national beauty contest in 1933 and was offered a contract by a Hollywood producer. She was soon signed by Warner Bros., and a year later jumped ship to Universal. She began appearing in several of the studios' serials, with 1936's "Flash Gordon" being her most fondly remembered role. Given her delicate blond beauty and the skimpy outfits she wore, it was no wonder she was lusted after so fiercely by archvillain Ming the Merciless (and most of the male audience). Universal took her out of the serial unit and put her in a string of B pictures. Unsatisfied with the way her career was going, and the fact that the studio refused to give her a raise, she left Universal for 20th Century Fox in 1939. Two years later the spunky Rogers left Fox for the same reasons she left Universal, and signed with MGM, where she found the treatment more to her liking. She walked off the Culver City lot in 1943 when studio boss Louis B. Mayer discovered that she planned to get married, and forbade her to do so. Althugh she freelanced over the next few years, nothing much really came of it, and after making "The Second Woman" in 1951, she retired to raise her family.- Actor

James Hunt was known as Hunt The Shunt for his many accidents in lower formulas. He started his F1 career in 1973, driving for the maverick Hesketh team. Known for its wild parties and eccentric attitude, Hesketh wasn't taken too seriously by rival teams, but after competitive outings in 1974 and 1975, including a win in the Dutch Grand Prix and another in a non-championship race, Hesketh and Hunt were now a force to be reckoned with.
James joined McLaren for 1976 after the Hesketh team folded, and after a controversial and dramatic season, which saw him disqualified twice and re-instated as the winner in one race, his friend and rival Niki Lauda nearly being killed in the German Grand Prix and a run of bad luck in the early part of the season, James snatched the title in the dramatic final race in Japan in torrential rain, to the delight of Britain.
James had two more season at McLaren in which he won another 3 races, but by 1979, his interest and motivation was waning. He tried to save Ronnie Peterson from his burning Lotus in the 1978 Italian Grand Prix, but his friend died that night. He and Niki Lauda had both decided that enough was enough (Lauda was to change his mind and make a comeback in 1982, however) and both retired before the 1979 season was over. Their mutual friend Jody Scheckter gave up at the end of 1980 for the same reason.
James became a controversial and very entertaining commentator for BBC's Grand Prix show, winning him a whole army of new fans, but on 15 June 1993, his life was cut short, and he died from a heart attack. He was just 45 years old.
James had two sons, Tom and Freddie.- Additional Crew

Alexander J. Robinson grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts, and graduated Cum Laude from Wheaton College (Norton, Massachusetts) in 2009. Due to the fact that Wheaton College did not offer any sort of film major, Alexander took it upon himself to create his own Independent Film Major, entitled "Film Production in Practice and Cultural Narrative." Since graduation, Alexander worked as a Production Assistant on multiple independent films, spending the majority of his time writing feature length screenplays, short scripts, and researching and buying professional camera equipment. After procuring a camera, a tripod, and one shotgun microphone, Alexander began his endeavors as an independent filmmaker; writing, directing, producing, and editing "Holdup," along with a handful of other short films. Having spent all of his money on his camera equipment, Alexander learned quickly to produce, organize, and direct his original screenplays with unpaid actors and little or no crew.
