Julia is an Emmy-nominated producer and writer, passionate about highlighting meaningful stories through film and TV. Julia co-created, hosted, and executive produced "Modern Hero" (seen on Amazon), an award-winning series that features female role models, including former First Lady Michelle Obama and healthcare hero, Dr. Audrey Evans (whose interview amassed 17M views). Julia has made a career of telling true stories, having interviewed notables such as His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, along with others. She has also produced original content honoring figureheads such as Malala Yousafzai, coordinated interviews across the United States, Canada, and England, and has led a crew in China for a multi-episode, multi-year ABC series. She has worked on live productions, productions at esteemed venues like the National Constitution Center, and produced the NY Emmy-nominated special "Celebrate Equality: The Future of Women's Rights" for ABC and U.N. Women. Julia wrote, and is now producing, the multi award-winning screenplay "Audrey's Children," inspired by the life of legendary pediatric oncologist and co-founder of Ronald McDonald House Charities, Dr. Audrey Evans. It's Julia's mission to illuminate unsung heroes and inspire positive change in the world through media.
