Konstantinos Kardakaris is a film and theater director. He was born in Athens and studied Cinema, Theater as a scholar of the Directing Department of the National Theater of Greece Drama School, Physics (BSc) and Audiovisual Arts in the Digital Age. He was selected for a full scholarship from the National Centre of Audiovisual Media and Communication (EKOME) in collaboration with Nu Boyana Film Studios, Sofia. He has worked as an assistant theater director numerous times in Athens & Epidaurus Festival, the National Theater of Greece and Onassis Cultural Center. He participated in "Transmedia Labworks" of the Greek National Opera and he has composed music for television and cinema productions. He has curated film programs for Tirana International Film Festival, the National Contemporary Art Museum (EMST) etc. He was the Greek Ambassador for the LUX European Film Prize and he was selected in the Jury team of the Venice Days award of the 74th Venice International Film Festival. His short film "Oxytocin" premiered at the Competition Program of the 25th Athens International Film Festival.
