Srijita Ghosh was born and brought up in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She hails from a culturally Bengali family, where evenings were often spent practicing Rabindra Sangeet and classical dance forms. Growing up in a joint family.
She was the first from her household to step into the film industry, a world completely unfamiliar to her at the time. She began her career with the short film Replication and made her debut as a lead actress in the Telugu film Katha Venuka Katha in 2015.
She completed her schooling at Salt Lake Girls' School and pursued higher education at Calcutta University. Her father, the late Mr. Sushanta Ghosh, was a bank manager at the Central Bank of India. Her mother is a homemaker.
Srijita developed a deep passion for films at a very young age. She often practiced facial expressions and mimicked famous actresses in front of the mirror. Over time, her love for acting grew stronger, becoming the one thing that brought her true happiness. This passion eventually led her to leave her hometown and move to Mumbai to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
