Kevin Michael Foster

Dr. Kevin Michael Foster is the Founding Executive Producer of Blackademics Television (2013-present), which brings Black Studies Scholarship to the U.S. public via PBS and social media platforms. He is a long-time educator, researcher, consultant and speaker who has worked with students from middle school through graduate school. He is a Black Studies professor at The University of Texas at Austin (and past Department Chair). He is also an elected official, serving as a Board Member on the Austin (Texas) School Board of Trustees. He has two offspring, Marlee and Malcolm Foster and lives in Austin Texas.
