Anime fans of the hit series “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” (DanMachi) had reason to celebrate at the recently concluded Vesta Party 10th-Anniversary Festival. The event marked a pivotal moment in the series’ history, as it brought forth the official announcement of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Season 5.

The news of DanMachi Season 5 arrives after a journey that began with the 4th season’s release, which was divided into two parts. The first part premiered in the summer of 2022, while the second part was unveiled in the winter of 2023.

With a total of 22 episodes, this season, produced by the renowned studio Jc Staff, left fans on the edge of their seats. However, the post-season 4 hiatus left viewers eagerly awaiting confirmation of the next season’s existence.

Additionally, the Anime NYC slate of announcements included new releases from beloved creators with works previously published by Yen Press, such as Scribbles by A Bride’s Story creator Kaoru Mori...

During the Yen Press Industry Panel at New York Comic Con 2022, Yen Press, LLC announced the acquisition of ten highly anticipated releases—a list that includes What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?, the print edition of the 2015 webtoon of the same title, which was later adapted into a South Korean television series in 2018.
