The trailer for Kung Fu Games boasts that it’s from one of the executive producers of Halloween: Resurrection. For those who don’t remember, that’s the one where Michael Myers gets beaten up by rapper Busta Rhymes. The fact that they thought a connection to that film was something to boast about should have been all the warning I needed.
Instead, I found myself watching a group of confused people wake up in what looks like a subway car as lights flash and sirens sound. A door opens, and they run out into what looks like a fog enshrouded bamboo forest, where one of them gets impaled with a spear and the rest get attacked by fighters who rappel down from the clouds.

Not all comic-book movies have to be about superheroes or heroes at all for that matter. Case in point: Accident Man. Originally debuting in a series of comic strips in the 90s, Accident Man was created by Pat Mills and Tony Skinner – two legends of the UK comics scene. For those not familiar with the Mills and Skinner creation, Mike Fallon is a hitman, a stone-cold killer and the best at what he does. Yet he’s no ordinary hitman. Instead, Fallon has a very particular style of assassination: all of his jobs are completed by making it look like the target was killed simply by accident… Hence the name Accident Man.
It took almost two decades for Accident Man to hit the screen,...

Adkins has starred as Boyka in the sequels to the 2002 prison boxing movie, Undisputed, which had transitioned into an incredible series of martial arts films, and Adkins himself won awards from the Jackie Chan Action Awards for Best Fight and Best Actor for the most recent entry, Boyka: Undisputed. "There's a gaggle of assassins about to turn up!" Goldwyn Films has revealed the official US trailer for an action comedy sequel titled Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday. It's the second movie after the original Accident Man in 2018, directed by Jesse V. Johnson, bringing back Adkins as the "accident man" in the title. Scott Adkins returns as Mike Fallon, a tough hitman who makes his hits look like accidents or suicide. The Accident Man is back again and this time he must fight all the top assassins to protect the ungrateful son of a mafia boss, save the life of his only friend, and rekindle his relationship with his maniacal father figure. Sounds wild! In addition to Adkins, the cast includes Ray Stevenson, Perry Benson, Sarah Chang, Flaminia Cinque, Faisal Mohammed, Peter Lee Thomas, and Beau Fowler as "Poco The Killer Clown". This does look ridiculous in a self-aware way, and...

Usually not a style associated with the Philippines, they attempt to enter the martial arts/fantasy epic with this new effort from emerging indie director Vincent Soberano, also choosing to star in this new effort. Expanding on the folklore established in the previous shorts Blood Hunters and Blood Hunters: Aswang, this feature-length adaption of the storyline will get a digital launch on March 17 across various streaming platforms.
In the years following the arrival of the Aswang, a team of Blood Hunters led by Mante (Monsour Del Rosario), Max (Ian Ignacio) and Kali (Roxanne Barcelo) manage to stumble upon Gabriella Chang (Sarah Chang), a young woman hunting the powerful vampire Naga (Temujin Shirzada). Once they realize his partner Gundra (Mekael Turner) is in the area, they bring her into their camp to train with them when the special warrior Bolo (Vincent Soberano) becomes involved through Bolo and Naka attempting to launch a new attack.
