Linda Shane Robinson, Actor/Comedienne/Vocalist, has proven to effortlessly command attention with her provoking charisma and ability to set the tone; no matter the facet or audience.
Linda Shane, a native of the south-side of Chicago, Illinois, was born the 4th of five children. Having been raised in a home where there were a buffet of personalities; Linda was known to naturally be the center of attention, at an early age. It would be her adolescent years- when she attended a Jewish Summer Camp, where Linda Shane was selected for the part of Maria in the Incomparable stage play "West Side Story".
Notably evident, Linda Shane a born thespian continued to hone her craft; Linda Shane begin taking voice lessons and studying several musical instruments with trumpet being her choice of sound. She later starred in Hansel and Gretel at The Chicago Schubert Theater and played in the Bud Billiken Parade.
Linda Shane is extremely balanced. She learned to surround herself with mentors and friends that would serve as positive instruments in her young career, many of which, were the reason she too carries a baton of Philanthropy. In addition to her intermediate level counselors; Linda Shane had the pleasure of meeting the late Ray Charles, Little Jimmy Scott and befriending Actor, Bill Cobbs, filmmaker, Robert Townsend, Stevie Wonder and Juanita Jennings.
Linda has lived very fruitful, although she has a passion to entertain, she spent many years building a quality life for her family. Linda Shane worked in corporate America as a Paralegal, Driver License Examiner, E-911 Operator, Waitress, etc. It wasn't until later in her adult years, where she was encouraged by friends, family and co-workers to become a full-time actress.
1st ever audition, Linda landed a role in the stage play, "All Out"! Which was performed on a military base in Louisiana.
In addition to being such a matriarch in theater, she subscribe to constant training and acting workshops. Studying Meisner technique and being led by SAG Trainer Carol Gordon. Linda also works behind the scene as Stand-In, Production Assistant and Script Supervisor.
As Linda Shane evolves in her career as an actress, she has demonstrated her ability to be teachable when presented in featured, featured reoccurring or background roles. She has graced film/TV with her captivating presence and skill in web-series; Risky Business, UNDERGROUND on WGN, Birth of a Nation, Selma, and Lee Daniels, STAR on Fox.
With a recipe to sooth the heart and soul; whether through theater, film, song or her "Chicago Style Steppin", Linda intentionally executes her gifts as planting seeds in hopes to provoke intensity, Love and Unity.
