Didn't begin stand-up comedy until the age of 34. Charlie stated in an interview, "I desperately wanted to start years earlier but my fear of bombing crippled me for so long".

I like acting because it is an escape, a way of expressing myself without boundaries.

Stay true to the art of your profession and do not become like everyone else by entering that huge pool of sameness. Yes, it is a business, but you're probably making things harder for yourself by losing originality.
