Born in Hong Kong, in 1995, Alison moved to Canada in 1996. She was educated at Bayview Glen, Havergal College in Toronto, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in the arts at the University of Southern California.

In 2013, Alison starred in Cry Havoc, a play reflecting the terrors of war in Battan, where she played the lead role of Smitty. She was the recipient of the Rosemary Character award for her commitment and leadership in the arts, the Best Drama Award for her dedication to theatre and the University of Toronto Book Award.

In her first year at the University of Southern California, Alison began acting in student films, including the award-winning Chlorine, made in under 24 hours, for the DKA 24hr Filmfest. In 2015, she co-starred in The Waiting Room, a USC School of Dramatic Arts show, playing Forgiveness from Heaven, a 48-year old woman with bound feet. She went on to play Maddie in the award-winning web series, 'Gal Pals'.

She now resides in Vancouver, BC, and can be seen on various TV shows, and works with a local sketch comedy group, creating her own funny content. A diverse and skilled actress, Alison's specialty in comedy makes her a rare find and powerful addition to any show or film she's in.
