Claude Whitscell
- Actor
Claude Whitscell spent the first 14 years of his life in the small
farming community of Dalton City, Illinois until his family relocated
to Yellville, Arkansas before finally settling in Arlington, Texas
where he graduated from Sam Houston High School.
Claude became well known in the Punk Rock and Club Kid scene in the nearby city of Dallas due to his unique Gothic appearance, and soon began getting extra work in movies that were filming locally, while further supporting himself as a Night Club Doorman, Tarot card reader in clubs and private parties, and as the Special Features Editor of BEYOND magazine.
Claude stepped back from his public life, taking less satisfying employment in exchange for being available to take care of his parents as their health failed. During this time he supported himself as a courier, an antiques dealer, and various factory jobs including a position as a 'Sugar Spinner' in a cotton candy factory. He satisfied his creative instinct by acting as a free-lance editor for first time authors, and by producing folk art pieces.
After the death of his parents, Claude relocated to New Orleans where he is once again pursuing work in the Entertainment Industry.
