Joe Munroe is a Canadian-American actor and producer based in Los Angeles, known for his layered work in action, crime, and thriller films. He first gained recognition as the face of Gillette before landing roles across TV and film. His screen credits include playing a male stripper in Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, country music star Granger Smith in Netflix's hit series Virgin River, and a heroic police officer in Lionsgate's Detective Knight trilogy alongside Bruce Willis. Munroe recently starred as the antagonist, a relentless small-town boxer, in Dil Rakh: Gloves of Kin, now streaming on Amazon. Next, catch him robbing banks in Guns Up, Millennium Films' upcoming action-comedy where he joins Kevin James and Christina Ricci.
As a film investor, he was involved in The Cut, starring Orlando Bloom, which premiered at TIFF 2024. Munroe also serves as an Executive Producer on an upcoming project at Atlas currently in pre-production being cast by Sheila Jaffe (The Fighter, Entourage, The Italian Job).
