Helios, Roscosmos, and NASA must collaborate to rescue trapped astronauts in a race-against-time mission underground. Despite rivalry at the executive level, astronauts on the ground work together to save lives in a tense situation. Personal conflicts and past traumas come to light as Hab 1 survivors confront their guilty feelings underground.
For All Mankind season 3, episode 8, "The Sands of Ares", depicts the aftermath of the landslide at Happy Valley and the coordinated efforts of the series' three space programs to rescue the trapped astronauts. Season 3 of For All Mankind is still set in Earth's alternate history, though now in 1992, 10 years after the events of season 2. In the previous episode, "Bring It Down", a cliff above the Helios Base collapsed, burying HABs and scientists underneath. Episode 8 is almost entirely concerned with the rescue efforts by those onsite and back on Earth.

The final mission is now complete and Burn Notice is no more.
The beloved USA Network hit went off the air on September 12th with "Reckoning," an emotional farewell to Michael, Fiona and, especially, to Madeline.
But let's bring these characters back for one final Round Table, as panelists Jim Garner, Christine Orlando, Carla Day, Steven (from Burn Notice Fanatic) and Michelle Carlbert gather around to discuss and debate a moving series finale...
-------------------------------------------
What was you favorite scene from the finale?
Jim: Hands down, Michael and Madeline's conversation on the phone. When she said she was proud of him, I was lost in tears. First, for Michael who has always wanted to make her proud, and then for myself, wondering if my mom would be proud of me in the few years since she passed.
Christine: The phone call was amazing and had me in tears but I'm going...

Earning a rare perfect rating, "Depth Perception" took everything we knew about Michael and his relationship with his father and scrambled it like an egg being thrown into a blender.
Anson has to be the most sadistic, devious, malicious, manipulative bastard Michael has every faced - and I have never enjoyed a Burn Notice bad guy more. If Sam and Michael had made a deal with the Devil himself, they would have been less screwed over.
I couldn't see anything good coming out of Sam and Michael going to Anson for help. But then the emotions and responses Anson was able to pull out of Michael when he was asking him if you were Oscar what would you want? changed my mind. I began to think that Anson might not be entirely evil. Maybe Michael and Anson could find a middle ground.
Then Anson dropped the bombshell: That he not only knew Michael’s father,...

On TV this Thursday: Our Meg Masters swings by Salem, Mrs. California comes to Scranton (stat!), and more. Even with CBS in repeat mode, we found 13 programs to keep on your radar.
(Check daytime listings) Days of Our Lives (NBC) | TVLine’s Los Angeles-based West Coast Editor, Meg Masters, went out and bought her first winter coat for her walk-on role as a news reporter [see photo, second from right], so make it worth her while, ‘K? Besides, sources tell me if her appearance goes over well, she’s getting an evil twin named Peg for February sweeps!

Next week, "Burn Notice" is all-new -- and headed to the Cayman Islands. Okay, so it's for business and not pleasure, but we're sure Fiona will find some time to relax on the beach. In "Depth Perception" Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) must trust Anson (Jere Burns) to track a spy who has vowed to murder Beatriz (Ilza Rosario_. Meanwhile, Fiona and Jesse are forced by Anson to visit the Cayman Islands for an important errand.
In the clip we see Jesse (Coby Bell) and Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) watching over an exchange between a greedy banker and one of his clients. The goal? They need the banker to transfer a couple hundred million dollars off the books. Yeah, this is going to be a challenge.
Tensions -- and tempers are high -- as the explosive season finale quickly approaches. With only three more episodes left, we're sure Season 5 will go out with a bang.
