Sachiko White was born May 5 in an Air Force base in Florida. Her family moved to Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio before settling in California. Sachiko sang in the school choir and competed in swimming up through her senior year in high school.

During her freshman year at Princeton University, Sachiko saw a production of Shakespeare's "As You Like It" performed by the renowned theatre company Cheek By Jowl. Something clicked and she decided to leave Princeton and go to drama school in London.

Upon graduating from the Arts Educational Schools, London, Sachiko returned to the States and performed in regional theater until her path led her to The Second City in Hollywood. From there she became an understudy for and performed in The Second City Mainstage show in Las Vegas, wrote and performed a one-woman show in Los Angeles called "Samurai Hand Gestures," performed again with The Second City while an understudy at the Laguna Beach Playhouse, and appeared in several commercials.

Sachiko was part of the original cast of Second City This Week, both writing for and performing in the satirical weekly news show. She had the good fortune of serving as News Anchor one week, and returned for cameo appearances when she left the show for other acting pursuits.
