Amanda Rea
An actress, singer, and songwriter from Long Island, New York. Amanda immersed herself in the arts early on, training at the Broadway Dance Center and The PIT Improv Theatre in New York City. While pursuing her acting and music career, Rea worked as a licensed cosmetologist & waitress on Long Island. Her dedication paid off when her original music was discovered online by renowned music producer Jason Nevins. Impressed by her talent, Nevins connected Amanda with Danny Strick, Co President of Sony/ATV, and SVP Rich Christina. The two executives signed Rea to a five-year deal with Sony/ATV & Ultra Records in 2007. Following the end of the contract and unexpected loss of her father Carmine, she chose to leave New York and move to Los Angeles. Known for her diligence, and focused approach, Rea swiftly made her mark in the theatrical industry, launching her career with a three-year recurring role on HBO's Ballers. Recognized for her authenticity and ability to perform her own stunts, Rea brings a fearless presence to both her on-screen roles and off-screen endeavors.
