Brenda Gilbert was the Co-Founder and President of the BRON group of companies, a content creator and media-tech focused company co-founded with her husband, Aaron L. Gilbert, before its closure in the Fall of 2023. Headquartered in British Columbia, BRON Media Corp. had BRON Studios, which focused on scripted and non-scripted film and television series. BRON Digital, an animation and interactive gaming unit, produced via a virtual pipeline powered by Epic Games' Unreal Engine. A separate division, BRON Ventures, oversaw the company's investments in 11 other media and media-tech related companies. BRON companies received hundreds of honors, including 38 Academy Awards nominations (6 wins), 39 BAFTA Awards nominations, and more than 350 Film Festival Award nominations and wins.
