Lilian Sijbesma (1983) is a filmmaker based in Amsterdam. She graduated in Directing and Screenwriting from the Utrecht School of the Arts in 2011. Since then, she has been involved in various film projects and series. She wrote the children's series Kabam!, which won an International Emmy Award and Cinekid Lion. Additionally, she wrote and directed several episodes of the children's series Dropje, co-directed the children's series Saïd & Anna and penned the screenplay for Okthanksbye, a feature film directed by Nicole van Kilsdonk.
Her debut feature film as a writer and director, Under the Naked Sky, premiered in 2023. The script earned the Visser-Neerlandia Award for Best Unproduced Screenplay in the Netherlands and Flanders.
