Biography

Born and raised in southern Oregon, Jacob Schatz graduated from North Medford High School in 2009. He studied Theatre Arts & English Literature at Southern Oregon University until 2014 when he moved to Austin, Texas. His most recent film, 'Three Headed Beast,' directed by Fernando Andres and Tyler Rugh, debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022. He collaborates frequently with CCR Studios in Austin, TX as a documentarian, telling the stories of progressive causes in the region. Jacob practices American Sign Language and speaks French, he also practices the clown skills juggling and uni-cycling. His third feature film, Autofiction, directed by Nick White, finished principal photography in July 2023 and is set to debut in 2024.
