Andréa Zamora
Andréa Zamora was born on October 8th in San Francisco, California. She is the only child of (late) mother Marla Zamora and father Howard Specter. Her mother is of Costa Rican and Mexican decent from Oakland, CA and her father is of Ukrainian and Israeli descent from Chicago, IL. Andréa's mother was the first Latinx Woman Public Defender in San Francisco and the first Latinx Woman to run for Judge. Her mother minored in drama and instilled it in her at a young age.

Andréa spent her years acting, dancing, and singing. She was in dance training beginning at the age of two. She began training in theatre and musical theatre at age six. At age thirteen Andréa was accepted into San Francisco School of The Arts High School, a pre professional program. She joined the theatre department where she honed her craft as an actress. At age fifteen she was accepted into her first professional dance company under Choreographer Allan Frias of FOX network "So You Think You Can Dance?". She danced for artists Baby Bash (2007) and Black Eyed Peas (2008).

In 2009 Andréa relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her career as an actress. She began studying at Milton Katselas' Beverly Hills Playhouse where she studied under Chick Vennera. Years following she was then invited into Aaron Speiser's master class where she truly grew into her artistry. That is when her work truly took a turn into new depths.

In 2016 Andréa battled the sudden and tragic loss of her mother. Through the shock, grief and debilitating pain, Andréa actively chose to let it fuel her creatively. It lit a new fire within her and catapulted her artistic journey. The month she returned to LA she immediately began studying with Eric Morris whom helped her process her new reality and how to use this new found pain consciously in her work. That same year Andréa produced her first four projects, two of which she wrote. It was then that she discovered a new love for writing and creating.

After receiving great feedback on some of her comedic work through her coaches and peers, she decided it was time to focus more on her comedy work. In 2017 she began studying under Lesly Kahn where she specialized in learning the technicalities and script analysis that comes with comedy writing, acting, and directing. In 2018 Andréa shot the pilot for her first comedic series titled "Why Me?!" which she starred in, directed, and produced. Andréa has continued training with some of Los Angeles' most respected coaches while simultaneously keeping up her vocal and dance training.

We aren't sure what's next for Andréa, but we do know that with her tenacious and determined spirit there are great things on the horizon for her.
