Jaspal Sharma

Jaspal sharma is a versatile Indian film & theatre artist who has appeared in some of Bollywood's major films including, talvar(2015) sonchiriya(2019) and pati patni aur woh (2020) web series. He got recoginsed as an artist with Talvar directed by meghna gulzar, which is based on noida double murder case of aarushi talwar and hemraj where he played Rajpal,one of the most crucial character.Jaspal wanted to be an actor ever since he could remember, and he started acting/theater in his early childhood days.

Early life and education

Jaspal Sharma is from Haldwani a small town of nainital district in Uttaranchal, where his father is an ex.army man.Jaspal grew up amongst 4 siblings, 1 brother and 3 sisters.

he started theatre in his early age with Amber theatre group and also he played small roles in local ramleela. After completing his graduation in commerce,he got associated with Manch theatre repertory with Idris Malik(NSD).Later, he moved to delhi and worked as a freelancer theatre actor and writer. In, 2011 he got selected in kingdom of dreams(India's first live entertainment, theatre and leisure destination) musical play "Jhumroo" directed by vikranth panwar. He is playing loki in this musical.

jaspal also worked in some award winning short films like; Indian circus (best short film of MAMI 2019) Turup chaal (Official selection filmfare short film awards 2017) Paash (The film came in top five films from India in Shorts TV Film Festival; it's an Oscar qualifying film festival.) Noor: grace of god ( official selection of Indica film festival 2020)
