I’m not going to lie, the Axeman franchise is starting to get a bit confusing… the original film was released in 2013 and a sequel arrived a few years later under the title Axeman 2: Overkill. Then in 2020 the original film was recut and re-edited, making it – as filmmaker Joston Theney stated – a more straightforward horror with a leaner edit, new footage and new music. Originally set to be released under the title Axeman: Redux, instead it was released as Axemen at Cutter’s Creek.
Now comes Axeman at Cutter’s Creek 2 which, if you believe IMDb is a sequel to Axeman 2 and Not Axemen at Cutter’s Creek – though the press materials claims otherwise, stating...

The Four Weddings and a Funeral screenplay writer didn’t want actor Hugh Grant in the starring role of the film because he was too handsome.
Writer Richard Curtis actively campaigned against Grant in the lead role of Charles, a floppy-haired young professional whose fear of commitment turns to love for a certain wedding guest. Curtis had nothing against Grant, but he didn’t envision him as Charles who has a history of being a serial dater.
“I was worried about it. When Hugh did first come in, I did think he was too handsome. I thought people would not believe the fact he was in trouble with girls because he so clearly wouldn’t be. So that’s why he pushed the sort of doubtfulness and lack of confidence,” he told Daily Mail.
“He was by far the best person who auditioned but I still voted against him when...

African American history often gets buried in the bowels of the past. I am always embarrassed when I learn about moments from Black history that I feel I should already know. The subject of Margaret Brown’s documentary Descendant is the slave ship Clotilda, found off the coast of Plateau, Alabama (labeled Africatown). Having premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, then screened at SXSW, it is the first film to open the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival. Descendant is also produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground.
The documentary follows the living descendants of the enslaved on the ship that landed in Alabama, who are looking for validation and reparations. These people were tired of waiting around for someone to give them the answers, and shows how these individuals fought to bring this journey full circle.

During the very last moments of the season finale for ABC's popular fairy tale drama "Once Upon a Time," a tantalizing new character was introduced, one that is undoubtedly very familiar to the show's loyal viewers -- Queen Elsa, from Disney's record-breaking "Frozen." She was seen from behind, as more of a silhouette than a fully formed character, and now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the role has been filled by an actress, who if you're a fan of genre television, you just might recognize.
The site is claiming that Georgina Haig, who played the role of Henrietta "Etta" Bishop on Fox's beloved cult sci-fi series "Fringe," will let it go as Elsa on "Once Upon a Time." (She can currently be seen on the CBS drama "Reckless." No clue what that is.) Haig joins Elizabeth Lail, who will play Elsa's sister Anna, and Schoot Michael Foster (from "Greek") as Kristoff,...

The first shot of Bad Timing, which shows a bloody piece of clothing, forecasts a macabre zombie thriller. Looks can be deceiving, though, and Bad Timing is far from your typical zombie series. Instead, it's a romance about a love triangle at the end of the world. Bad Timing stars Andy Goldenberg (known as Goldentusk on YouTube) as a socially awkward dweeb who finds himself as one of two survivors of a zombie apocalypse. His only companion is Eve (Aqueela Zoll), his coworker and the girl of his dreams. The series follows Andy's attempts to woo Eve, which are interrupted by the sudden reappearance of her hunky boyfriend Kevin (Michael Foster). 12 episodes in, there's still no sign of the zombies, and Bad Timing's smart script continues to take center stage. The zombie-comedy-romance is a well-tread mash-up, but Goldenberg doesn't think an innovative concept is necessary for a winning series.
