Danuta Tangalos

Danuta was born in Tarzana, California in 1981. Danuta was named after a Polish ballerina. Her father, George Tangalos, has a PhD in mathematics and a Masters in Physics. He plays: violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, flute and trumpet. He speaks many languages. Her mother was a dancer and played the flute and violin. This background is who Danuta is. As a child Danuta performed and won contests in: dance, singing, ice skating, riding and theatre. In theatre she performed such roles as: Brigitta in the Sound of Music, Bielka in Fiddler on the Roof, Clara in The Nutcracker and Gretel in Hansel and Gretel. She also played cello and piano. She received her B.A. from UC Berkeley in Philosophy in 2004 and her M.A. from Pepperdine University in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling in 2014.
