Jade Alexander is a British/Australian Producer. Born in Malaysia, she is part Chinese, Mongolian and British, Jade is based mostly in London where she runs her production company Little Jade Productions.
Jade began acting at the age of 7 being cast as the lead role in Australian mini-series 'The Adventures of Les Darcy'. Jade plays viola, piano and sings. After continuing to perform on stage in both music and acting, she was offered a place at a prestigious acting school in Sydney (Actors College of Theatre and Television). Since coming to London she has focused on producing films and set up her company Little Jade Productions to focus on creating exciting genre projects and help talented diverse creatives tell stories that impact educate and inspire.
Jade works in many different formats from creating the world's first live-action interactive sci-fi film (and game) The Complex, to immersive sensory experience 'Black Out' for Asics, she thrives on creative and technical challenges that disrupt the everyday.
Jade interned with ICM & Partners in 2012 at Cannes Film Festival, completed Business of Film Course in 2018 and was in BAFTA Crew 2018-19. She has become an award-winning producer (Best Film - After Death, 2 x Lovies and 1 x FWA award for Asics Blackout Track) with experience in commercials, features & new media.
She produced interactive film The Complex 2020, which won Best Sound and Best VFX at British Film Festival and was to premiere at Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. With a talented cast; Michelle Mylett (Letterkenny) and Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones, The Witch), it has outperformed other interactive films and hit profits in 2022. Available on Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch & Steam garnering 5 star reviews. Then recreated the project as a feature film The Complex: Lockdown which is available on Apple TV, Hulu, iTunes and Sky.
In 2021 she was associate producer on the interactive film Nightbook (2021), worked for Warner Bros Australia on the series Love Me starring Hugh Jackson for Hulu.
Her feature film After Death won Best Film at the Bram Stoker Film festival and Best of the Fest at Raindance Film Festival, it was released theatrically in 2014. Jade is a BAFTA Connect member and supporter of the Film and Television Charity.
