Luis Suarez memes have taken over Twitter after the Uruguayan soccer player appeared to bite the shoulder of Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini in their 2014 World Cup face-off Tuesday afternoon.

Suarez has been nicknamed the Hannibal Lecter of international soccer, having bitten at least two other opponents prior to Chiellini. Last year, while playing for his current club team – the English Premiere League’s Liverpool Fc – Suarez bit the arm of Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic. FIFA subsequently banned him for 10 games. In 2010, Suarez received a seven-match ban for biting Otman Bakkal in the Dutch Eredivisie.

In addition to drawing comparison’s to Hannibal, Suarez has now inspired memes that make him into a vampire, a zombie, Jaws and more.
