Shannon Frank (2007)
Shannon Frank studied theater at San Jose State University from 1987-1990. In 1996, she furthered her theatrical training at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in Los Angeles, at the advisement of her uncle, Emmy Award-winning actor, Gary Frank, who also graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in 1969. At that time, Shannon claimed that the books that Uncle Gary gave her, "An Actor Prepares" and "Building a Character" by Konstantin Stanislavski, were her first deep dive lessons into understanding the true science to being an authentic actor. Shannon Frank also studied with George Randall at the Celebrity International Center in Hollywood while she pursued work as an actress in Los Angeles, California.

Frank pursued her academic studies when she met her current husband, Dr. Robert Richter. In 2014, Shannon obtained her degree in Liberal Arts in Cupertino, California with high honors (Magna Cum Laude) and became a lifetime member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. In 2016, Shannon Frank-Richter graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palo Alto University with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Psychology and Social Action. In November 2018, Frank-Richter earned her Master's degree in Counseling (emphasis in Child/Adult/Marriage & Family emphasis), and graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Palo Alto University's Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. Frank-Richter credits her love for character development in acting as a correlation to her ultimate passion in counseling, which allows her to help others learn, embrace and heal the human psyche that survives significant experiential crises and trauma. Frank-Richter's next projects include pursuing her doctorate degree, and applying her clinical and academic experience to researching how empathy acts as a critical cornerstone within all human engagements - personal and professional.
