Steven Sims is a television and documentary producer, director, and editor originally hailing from Pittsburgh. After spending sixteen years in Los Angeles, where he gained extensive experience in front of and behind the camera, Steven returned to Pittsburgh, where he currently resides with his girlfriend, Meghann, and their dog, Otis.
His work encompasses unscripted television, documentaries, and digital content for notable networks, including HBO, NBC, VH1, E!, and Bravo. Additionally, Steven served as an on-camera producer alongside Mike Rowe in the award-winning television series "Returning the Favor."
Since his return to Pittsburgh, Steven has primarily focused on non-broadcast projects, including collaborations with GE Aerospace, Pittsburgh Earth Day, the Pittsburgh Technical Council, and RuPaul's Drag Race star, Mrs. Kasha Davis.
Steven has a genuine passion for bringing stories to life, which is evident in his 20 years of experience. He has worked on diverse projects, from employee branding stories to unscripted programming. In addition to his creativity and storytelling, Steven has a diverse skill set that encompasses much more.
