Of course, Kyle and Diane have been having issues ever since Jack made her his co-ceo at Jabot, a job that Kyle clearly felt that should have been his even though he recommended his mother for the job.

Kyle would often go behind Diane’s back and undermine her work to make her look bad to their clients and employees.

Shaun and his best mate Ed are in trouble. They’ve discovered two zombies in their garden, and the lumbering flesh-eaters show no signs of stopping. However, Shaun and Ed have found one way of slowing the approach: throwing records.

And so, as the two zombies grow closer, Ed and Shaun rustle through the latter’s collection. “Sign o’ the Times … Purple Rain,” Ed suggests as projectiles, only to have Shaun tell him no. Star Wars fans will truly get to feel A Disturbance in the Force when a documentary about the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special — which debuted 45 years ago today, on CBS — is released.

Having premiered back in March at the SXSW Film Festival, A Disturbance in the Force will be released on digital and Blu-ray on Tuesday, Dec. 5, our sister site Variety reports. The 86-minute docu will also play in select theaters across the U.S. ahead of its digital release.

Hasbro division Entertainment One is at work on a documentary feature about Dungeons & Dragons, the popular roleplaying game.

The documentary, to coincide with the game’s 50th anniversary in 2024, will draw on the game’s wizards and elves and archived Dungeons & Dragons footage dating back to the game’s creation in the early 1970s.

Dungeons & Dragons writer Joe Manganiello will co-direct the project with Kyle Newman, while his brother Nick Manganiello, along with Anthony Savini and Cecily Tyler, Hasbro president of Wizards of the Coast and digital gaming, will produce.

"You never go full chicken, Lilly!" Lionsgate has unveiled the official trailer for an eSports comedy titled 1Up, the latest from filmmaker Kyle Newman (of Fanboys and Barely Lethal previously). The film is about a gamer who quits her college sports team due to sexism from all the men, and decides to start her own team to compete in the league and beat the men. This borrows the classic 90s sports comedy movie structure where a frustrated but talented player breaks off and creates an underdog team as they fight to take down their former teammates - except that this is set in the eSports world where racism & sexism is still rampant. Paris Berelc stars as "V", for Vivian, and is joined by Ruby Rose, Hari Nef, Madison Baines, Lolita Milena, D.J. Mausner, Taylor Zakhar Perez, & Naomi Kyle. It does look like direct-to-video quality, but might still be funny enough to enjoy.

Hari Nef (And Just Like That…) is the latest addition to the cast of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, Deadline has confirmed. She joins an ensemble led by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, which also includes America Ferrara, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu and Will Ferrell, as previously announced.

Details with regard to the Warner Bros. film’s plot have thus far been kept under wraps. While Robbie is playing the iconic doll, with Gosling as her counterpart Ken, specifics as to the character Nef is playing have not been disclosed.

Gerwig and Noah Baumbach scripted the project, which Robbie and Tom Ackerley are producing under their LuckyChap Entertainment production banner, alongside Mattel’s Robbie Brenner and Heyday Films’ David Heyman. LuckyChap’s Josey McNamara and Mattel’s Ynon Kreiz are serving as executive producers.

The first look at the upcoming dark romantic comedy “Happily” has been released.

Ellen Page and Paris Berelc have boarded gaming comedy “1Up,” with Kyle Newman directing in what could be the first feature film for BuzzFeed Studios.

Berelc will portray a gamer who quits her college esports team due to sexism from her male counterparts. To keep her scholarship, she’s forced to assemble an all-female team and enlists the help of a coach — portrayed by Page — who has a gaming scandal in her past.

The script is written by Julia Yorks. BuzzFeed’s Richard Alan Reid is producing along with Michael Philip and Jason Moring. Production is expected to begin in Toronto in November.

Page stars in the Netflix series “Umbrella Academy” as Vanya Hargreeves. She was nominated for an Academy Award for best actress for 2007’s comedy-drama “Juno” and has credits on “Inception,” “Tallulah,” “Whip It” and portrayed Kitty Pryde in “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The divorce between Jaime King and estranged husband Kyle Newman is heating up. On Friday, the director filed for primary physical custody of their two sons, James, 6, and Leo, 4. In the court documents obtained by E! News, Newman is accusing the Hart of Dixie star of "chronic" drug and alcohol abuse and claims she "spent the last decade high." He alleges that her drugs of choice are Adderall and Clonazepam, which he states in the filing are occasionally mixed with alcohol.  Per the documents, Newman claims that he's tried to help his wife overcome her addiction on multiple occasions, but she refuses any assistance. After more than 13 years of marriage, Jaime King has filed for divorce from husband Kyle Newman.  According to court records, the Black Summer actress filed for divorce from Newman on Monday morning in Los Angeles, Calif. The court records also show that she has filed a temporary restraining order against him.  King and Newman have two sons together, James Knight, 6, and Leo Thomas, 4. Smith Global Media has set October 13 this year as the Us theatrical release date for the animated adventure comedy Gnome Alone, directed by The Nut Job’s Peter Lepeniotis.

Michael Schwartz and Zina Zaflow wrote the screenplay based on a screen story by Rob Moreland and a story by Micah Herman and Kyle Newman.

The film centres on Chloe, who discovers her new home’s garden gnomes are not what they seem. She must decide between the pursuit of a desired high school life or banding with the gnomes to fight against the Troggs – menacing little monsters who have invaded the house through a portal from another world.
