Comedians Join Forces to Parody Gal Gadot’s Star-Studded ‘Imagine’ Video: ‘Imagine There’s No Keto…’
Josh Wolf and a host of other comedians used their coronavirus quarantining downtime to create a parody video of Gal Gadot’s instantly-viral “Imagine” video.
The clip — featuring Jeffrey Ross, Sarah Colonna, Jon Ryan, Joey Fatone, Sinbad and Brittany Furlan, among others — starts out, “Imagine there’s no keto / you have to eat mostly carbs / I bought up all of the Purell / just to wash my car.”
The rest of the lyrics make references to other hobbies and escapes enjoyed primarily by the wealthy, like dodging urban quarantines by heading to vacation homes or “only” having three cars. When Gadot posted her star-studded version of John Lennon’s “Imagine” Wednesday, one of the immediate criticisms was that it was tone-deaf for featuring rich celebrities who are quarantining in their large homes, recording themselves singing instead of making donations to relief efforts.

There will be no third season for Insatiable. Netflix has canceled the dark, twisted revenge comedy starring Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and Alyssa Milano after two seasons. Milano revealed the cancellation decision to a fan on Twitter earlier this month. Today, she posted an update, thanking fans.
This is sadly true. We had the most fun creating this show. I want to thank the fans who gave us a shot and kept coming back for more. Season 1 & 2 are still streaming. P.S. Any thoughts on who was Coralee’s baby daddy? I guess we will never know.

Turns out Netflix’s appetite for “Insatiable” wasn’t entirely, well, insatiable.
The dark comedy, which faced considerable backlash and was accused of promoting fat shaming before it even premiered, has been canceled by Netflix after two seasons.
“Insatiable” followed Patty (Debby Ryan), who for years has been bullied, ignored, and underestimated by those around her because of her weight. But now that she finds herself suddenly thin, Patty is out for payback against anyone who has ever made her feel bad about herself.
In addition to Ryan, the series starred Dallas Roberts, Alyssa Milano, Christopher Gorham, Erinn Westbrook, Michael Provost, Kimmy Shields, Irene Choi, and Sarah Colonna. Lauren Gussis created the series and served as executive producer alongside Ryan Seacrest, Nina Wass, Andrea Shay, Todd Hoffman, and Dennis Kim. CBS Television Studios produced the show.
Milano appeared to confirm the news in a tweet from Feb. 4.

Netflix has apparently had enough of Insatiable, cancelling the Debby Ryan-led comedy after two seasons, TVLine has confirmed.
Insatiable, which dropped its second — and now final — season in October 2019, starred Ryan as Patty Bladell, a newly thin high school student who seeks revenge on her former bullies by becoming a pageant queen.

It's game over for Netflix's Insatiable.
The series has been canceled after two seasons ,according to series star, Alyssa Milano.
The actress responded to a fan who asked about a potential third season earlier this month.
"We will not be coming back, sadly," she said on Twitter.
Given that Insatiable Season 2 launched in October and Netflix has not renewed it, it seemed the series was not going to be renewed.
The streamer typically makes renewal or cancellation decisions around four weeks after a show premieres, so it is likely the second season failed to live up to expectations in terms of viewers.
Insatiable followed Patty Bladell, a teenager who was constantly bullied in school for being overweight.
After being on a liquid diet for three months over summer vacation because of a freak accident, she is now thin and seeks revenge on her bullies.

Patty’s at it again! Netflix on Monday released the trailer for Insatiable‘s upcoming second season (Oct. 11), teasing more insane shenanigans courtesy of Debby Ryan‘s bloodthirsty beauty queen character.
In case you’re a little fuzzy about where Insatiable left off, here’s a quick refresher: Season 1 ended with Patty (Ryan) beating Christian to death with a crowbar after discovering that he roofied Magnolia (Erinn Westbrook) and stuffed her in the back of his car. The fact that Patty repeatedly screamed “I’m a good person!” while committing this murder should give you some idea of her current mental state.

Netflix’s dark comedy series Insatiable has been given a Season 2 order. I wasn’t sure if that would happen due to the controversy surrounding the series, but it’s that controversy that most likely boosted it’s ratings and gave it the opportunity to thrive with a second season.
There was even a petition that got over 100,000 signatures demanding that Netflix pull the series. Series creator Lauren Gussis asked people to give the show a chance, though, saying:
“When I was 13, I was suicidal. My best friends dumped me, I was bullied, and I wanted revenge. I thought if I looked pretty on the outside, I’d feel like I was enough. Instead, I developed an eating disorder…and the kind of rage that makes you want to do dark things … please give the show a chance.”

Netflix has ordered a second season of its series Insatiable, from creator Lauren Gussis and CBS TV Studios. The dark, twisted revenge comedy starring Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and Alyssa Milano, will return in 2019.
Like Netflix’s drama series 13 Reasons Why, Insatiable has attracted both strong viewership — judging by available streaming data — and controversy. 13 Reasons Why, which had been criticized for its depiction of teen suicide, bullying, drunk driving and rape, was recently renewed for a third season. Similarly, Insatiable, which was accused of “body-shaming,” has landed a second season.

A lot of people get punched in the face in the trailer for the upcoming Netflix show “Insatiable.” Nearly all of those surround the up-and-down arc of Patty (Debby Ryan), a high-schooler bullied for her weight. After she returns to school with a changed build, she’s on the delivering end.
Patty’s story will arrive on Netflix next month in the form of a 12-episode debut season. Also making up the backbone of this season (aside from the other students hurling insults and getting right hooks to the jaw) is Dallas Roberts’ Bob Armstrong, who takes on Patty as a beauty contest ingenue/protege. Like the kids at Masonville High, though, he gets far more than what he bargained for, a problem that quickly brings in his wife Coralee (Alyssa Milano).
The “Insatiable” ensemble also includes Christopher Gorham, Erinn Westbrook, Michael Provost, Kimmy Shields, Irene Choi, and Sarah Colonna.

Self-help guru Tony Robbins is facing the wrath of angry Twitter mobs after critical comments he made on March 15 towards the MeToo movement went viral on Saturday.
“If you use the #MeToo movement to try to get significance and certainty by attacking and destroying someone else… all you’ve done is basically use a drug called significance to make yourself feel good,” said Robbins during one of his seminars in San Jose, California, last month.
Robbins also told the story of a “very powerful man” who passed on hiring a female candidate even though she was the most qualified because she was too attractive and would be “too big a risk.”

The moment passed with little fanfare at the time, but came roaring back to public attention after the viral news site NowThis, released a video which included audience member Nanine McCool pushing back against Robbin’s comments.
“Certainly there are people who are using it for their own personal devices, but there are also a significant number of people who are using it not to relive whatever may have happened to them, but to make it safe for the young women,” she said. “So that they don’t have to feel unsafe.”
You can watch the encounter in the video below.

At various points when Robbins spoke, he was met by jeers from audience members, many of whom spent hundreds of dollars to attend his event.
Those jeers were even more ferocious online, as the mob quickly descended.
I’m a man. A heterosexual man. And what @TonyRobbins is saying in this is the biggest pile of dog shit I have ever seen. His friend didn’t hire a better qualified woman over 2 men because it was a “risk” that she was beautiful? Gtfoh. Tony should have told him to control himself. https://t.co/YMtpA6bfrV

If your famous pal can’t trust himself &/or his coworkers to behave respectfully & professionally around a qualified woman just because she’s attractive then he has a personal or personnel problem it’s not a problem of the #Metoo movement @TonyRobbins https://t.co/desJnEb7Dv

Many issues, but at the end he says dozens of high powered men have told him they don't hire more qualified women b/c they're attractive so they "can't have them around." That's the woman's fault? Perhaps the life coach could coach those dudes about keeping it in their pants? https://t.co/Z3XBpwjw5p

I was made aware of this video Before I ever saw it because Tony Robbins people reached out to do damage control within 24 hours. They wanted to “give me context” apparently. I don’t need any. I have eyes. The full video is 11 mins. And it’s gross. Bravo to this woman. https://t.co/gjbm9GF1Mz

So @TonyRobbins has had "a dozen CEO-level men" – probably all middle-aged, predominantly white men – tell him they won't hire attractive women because it's "too risky." Well isn't that some twisted, woman-blaming bullshit… #MeToo https://t.co/JE5DXQ7sIk

Tony Robbins is hugely influential, and I wish he'd shut up and really listen to what women are saying. No woman looks for "significance" by being an assault survivor: they are looking for justice, fairness, opportunity — all the things that Robbins claims to stand for. https://t.co/wZLqPLhCla

Robbins posted an apology Sunday morning on Facebook for his choice of words.
“At a recent Unleash the Power Within (Upw) event in San Jose, my comments failed to reflect the respect I have for everything Tarana Burke and the #MeToo movement has achieved,” he wrote. “I apologize for suggesting anything other than my profound admiration for the #MeToo movement. Poor Rachael Ray. Can you imagine being the celebrity chef on Sunday, just minding your own business when all of a sudden your Instagram is filled with bee and lemon emojis from angry Beyoncé fans vowing to stop eating your tacos? It must've been very confusing.
As you probably know, Beyonce revealed her "Lemonade" short film/visual album Saturday night on HBO. One song lyric seemed to reference her husband Jay Z cheating, with Bey saying, "He better call Becky with the good hair." That initially just turned into a lot of Becky jokes, and insults to Jay Z, but then fashion designer Rachel Roy got involved.
There were already rumors that Rachel Roy was the woman behind the whole Met Gala fight with Beyonce's sister Solange, and Roy further inserted herself in the mix early Sunday morning with a cryptic post that was interpreted by many fans as...

Sarah Colonna is officially a Wag—and proud of her newfound title. The 40-year-old comedian, who is engaged to Seattle Seahawks' punter Jon Ryan, attended the Super Bowl Xlix in Glendale, Ariz., where the blond beauty came out to support her fiancé, who popped the question just before the New Year. And despite the fact that the New England Patriots won the Big Game (if you're a Seahawks fan, you're probably still shedding a tear), Colonna made the most of her Super Bowl Sunday and documented her day in a hilarious diary. Exclusive: NBC is taking a second stab at developing a comedy series based on Life As I Blow It, the book by Chelsea Lately and After Lately writer-panelist Sarah Colonna. Denise Moss (Hackett) has been brought in to write/executive produce the project, originally developed last year with Colonna writing and Danielle Sanchez supervising. Colonna will now co-write the story with Moss, who will write the script. Happy Madison and Sony TV are back producing. Life As I Blow It will focus on the relationship of Colonna and her sister, who are brought together when Colonna loses her job and has to return to Arkansas where her sister’s life is also unraveling. Adding fuel to the fire is the sisters’ differing point of view on life and how Colonna’s nephew should be raised. While Colonna has no deal to star, the project is being developed as a potential starring vehicle for her.

Well, the cat's out of the bag. Comedian Sarah Colonna tweeted a photo of the cover of Variety's 2012's "10 Comics To Watch" ahead of its publication date.
As you can see in Colonna's photo below, the list, compiled annually by the entertainment publication, includes she and fellow comedians Jillian Bell, Kurt Braunohler, Rob Delaney, Lil' Rel Howery, Jake Hurwitz & Amir Blumenfeld of College Humor, Moshe Kasher, Joe Mande, Rory Scovel and Jessica Williams.
We'll have to wait until the end of the month to read why Variety chose the ten comedians, some up-and-coming and some already way on their way. For example, Delaney is already a household name on Twitter, having been crowned the funniest person on the social network at the 2012 Comedy Awards. Braunohler is currently hosting his own game show, "Bunk" on IFC, Joe Mande was recently hired as a writer for "Parks & Recreation" and Jessica Williams is...

You may expect Creed or Kevin to pop out to join her or you may think that a bat will begin to circle her head soon with Dwight hovering over her with a black trash bag. Diablo Cody is a bit of maverick around Hollywood circles so it shouldn't come to anyone's surprise that she's set to tackle her directorial debut on a project formerly titled "Lamb Of God" with an eclectic cast in tow, including Julianne Hough, Russell Brand, Octavia Spencer, Holly Hunter and Nick Offerman. There's now one more addition to the line up in the form of former "Last Comic Standing" finalist Sarah Colonna.
So, how did this little known actress/comedienne manage to score a role in the directorial debut of one of Hollywood's hottest screenwriters? Here's what we figure: Colonna is a regular panelist and full-time writer on E! Network's "Chelsea Lately" and Cody is married to one Dan Maurio who, coincidentally, works on... "Chelsea Lately." The two have also teamed together on Showtime series "The United States Of Tara."
Recently appearing on Marc Maron's Wtf podcast, Cody described the film as "a weird story.

Sarah Colonna, a close-knit member of Chelsea Handler.s comedic crew who also appeared on The United States of Tara, will reunite with Tara writer Diablo Cody for the Juno scribe.s as-yet-untitled directorial debut. Deadline, which breaks the news, says Colonna will take a supporting role opposite Footloose beauty Julianne Hough, who plays the survivor of an airplane crash who denounces God after she emerges with one-third of her body badly burned. Cody, who is directing from her own original screenplay, also has cast Oscar winners Octavia Spencer and Holly Hunter, Parks and Rec standout Nick Offerman, and funnyman Russell Brand. Chelsea Lately viewers will recognize Colonna as a frequent panelist on Handler.s talk show and the equally popular After Lately, where she also serves as a staff writer. But she has acted on the side for years, and currently is shooting the independent Old Days for writer-director...

A starring gig with AMC would be plenty fine for yours truly (if he were an actor), but Anson Mount aims higher. Which is probably why he has a career in the first place. Oh, right; according to Deadline, the Hell on Wheels lead will be playing the “nasty villain” in Supremacy, a race-based drama starring Danny Glover, Joe Anderson, Derek Luke, Evan Ross, Stacey Dash, and Dawn Olivieri. The true-life tale, helmed by Deon Taylor, centers on a “paroled white supremacist has just killed a cop, and takes an African American family hostage over a long night of terror as authorities cordon off the neighborhood where he and his lady accomplice are laying low.”
We can look forward to Mount as “Sobecki, a heavily tattooed maximum security prison inmate who’s the head of the Aryan Brotherhood and oversees his criminal empire from behind bars”; being the fellow’s “leader,...
