E.G. Voss is a 30-year veteran police detective sergeant that has investigated everything from the mundane to murder. Voss is a long-time member of the Sensitive Crimes Task Force which involves investigating child abuse, sexual assaults, and other crimes involving
vulnerable persons. As a member of the Wisconsin Association of Homicide Investigators, Voss has conducted numerous death investigations over the years from suicides to multiple murder scenes.
Voss also serves as an adjunct instructor for Blackhawk and Gateway Technical Colleges teaching several criminal justice courses to police officers, college students, and academy cadets.
Married and proud father of a son and two daughters, Voss is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, holding dual B.A.'s in Criminal Justice and History with Minors in Spanish.
An old newspaper article providing the details of a real-life unsolved murder of an unknown woman in 1928 started the journey towards a thrilling, murder mystery novel, Murder Made Casual. Another newspaper detailing Voss' novel fell into the right hands of a former Warner Brothers VP and the rest is history.
For information on the novel's mini-series status on IMDb, see Murder Made Casual
