Lara Alameddine is a partner and co-founder, with Oscar®-nominated producer Daniel Dubiecki, of The Allegiance Theater. Together they've produced numerous projects including "Money Monster," for TriStar/Sony with George Clooney and Julia Roberts, the HBO award-winning documentary "Cries From Syria," and "Please Stand By" starring Dakota Fanning and Toni Collette, for which Lara was invited by the United Nations® to speak alongside Dakota Fanning for World Autism Awareness Day. Most recently Alameddine produced the Critics Choice®-nominated "Three Months" for MTV/Paramount+.
Born in the Middle East, raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Alameddine eventually moved to Canada where she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in film and theater. Lara started her career in Los Angeles with a string of branded content short films for companies such as Honda and Atom Films.
Most recently Alameddine directed the short film Dear World for the world-wide release of the highly anticipated book by then 7-year old Syrian refugee Bana Alabed, who became a voice for refugee children of her generation.
