Biography

    • Born and raised in the Bronx, Chris Perkel is best known for Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives (2017), opening night film at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival and winner of the 2017 Critics' Choice Award for Best Music Documentary, and YouTube Originals' Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert (2020). Other projects include Foreman (2017), exploring George Foreman's improbable heavyweight comeback for Epix, and Phenoms (2018), a five-part prime-time miniseries following the best young soccer players in the world for Fox. As an editor, he worked with Academy Award-winners Cameron Crowe on Pearl Jam 20 (2011) and Morgan Neville on many projects including the Grammy-nominated Johnny Cash's America (2008).
