Moronke Akinola is a British actor and writer born in Lewisham, England. She trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School from 2016 to 2019 completing the BA (Hons) Professional Acting course. She was awarded the Andrew Lloyd Webber Scholarship which helped to fully fund her tuition for her three years of training. During her final year, Moronke became the 2019 Alan Bates Award Winner, the most prestigious award for graduating UK actors, obtained by one graduating actor after a rigorous four stage audition and interview process.

Upon graduating, she debuted her first work in progress play 'Give Me A Minute' (2019) which she not only wrote, but starred in, produced and directed. Moronke made her professional stage debut at The Finborough Theatre in the European Premiere of the hit Off-Broadway play The Niceties (2019), a challenging and thought-provoking two-hander that earner her an Off West End nomination for Female Performance in a Play.

Moronke makes her screen debut in Coffee Wars (2023) and graces the screen in a more prominent role in the horror movie adaptation of Adam Nevill's novel of the same name No One Gets Out Alive (2021) for Netflix.
