Joshua Preven

Joshua Preven has been a writer and public advocate for greater transparency in local government since 2012. He and his brother Eric Preven won the 2017 LA Press Club Award for Online Political Commentary for their CityWatchLA.com article "It's Time to End LA's Secret Meetings: What Do City Council Members and LA's County Supervisors Have to Hide?". Eric and Joshua co-write The Preven Report, a column which appears in CityWatchLA (and sometimes in the LA Daily News and Palisades News) and reports and comments on governmental affairs in Los Angeles.
