Sal was born in the Bronx and grew up in Yonkers, NY. In 2015, Sal played the comedic role of Banjo, in the stage production of 'The Man Who Came to Dinner', in Saratoga NY, which ended up being his favorite character to perform, along with receiving critical acclaim. His first involvement in entertainment was as a DJ in the late 80's. Sal was inspired to become an actor in 1993 because of the movie 'A BronxTale', and his passion for the business quickly grew. He eventually went behind the scenes in theatre, television, and film as a production technician, and became an award winning Producer, Director, Indie Filmmaker, and Actor. He has a degree in Communications from SUNY Albany, with a minor in Theatre, and has also attended Penn State, FAU, and Westchester CC in NY. Sal is known for doing cartoon character voices and impersonations, such as Joe Pesci. His many inspirations include greats
like Sylvester Stallone, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, AdamSandler, Joe Pesci, Jackie Gleason, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Elvis. Sal parted from the business in 2005 for five years, and returned in the winter of 2010 to perform in upstate NY in the stage tour of Tony n Tina's Wedding. After doing the show, he was reunited with his passion for the industry, and decided to return. In2012 he released Off Limits, a short film he created, produced, directed and starred in. Off Limits received and award for outstanding cast performance at the 2013 Action on Film (AOF) Int'l Film Festival in Monrovia, CA.
