- 16 July 2015 Gareth David-Lloyd is making a return to his Torchwood character Ianto Jones. Similar to John Barrowman's audio plans, Gareth David-Lloyd will reprise the role of Ianto for a Big Finish audio adventure in October 2015. Producer James Goss: "Well, how could we not [bring him back]?" he added. "Ianto's such a brilliant character, and if we kept people on tenterhooks any longer, we'd be fools. Of course he's in it and as soon as possible. We recorded with [Gareth David-Lloyd] literally the first day after he finished a theatre tour. Did he want to put his feet up? Nope. He wanted to be Ianto." "Seeing Gareth in studio was an absolute delight" added the director Scott Handcock. "He clearly loves the part and had a great time. And can't wait to be back." The new story will be released in October 2015.

- 15 November 2017 Actor/writer Gareth David-Lloyd, Ianto Jones in Sci-Fi hits Torchwood and Dr.Who, has joined forces with Twisted Showcase web anthology creator and writer Robin Bell to create Dark Valley Productions and bring the world of Black River Meadow to your screens. In a small but ambitious trilogy they hope to share a glimpse of a world that will one day be explored as a full length television drama.
- (Jan 22 2015) Polygon: Dragon Age: Inquisition, where Gareth David-Lloyd is the voice of the character Solas is recognized w/ GLAAD Media Award for its LGBT characters. GLAAD is giving a Special Recognition award to Dragon Age: Inquisition for "the many complex and unique LGBT characters prominently integrated throughout the game,". The 26th Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be held in two ceremonies, one on March 21 in Los Angeles and the other on May 9 in New York. For more on Dragon Age: Inquisition, which was Polygon's pick for game of the year 2014. A BioWare representative told Polygon that the team is "proud and happy" to receive the Special Recognition from the GLAAD Media Awards.
- (February 6 2015) "Dragon Age: Inquisition", where Gareth David-Lloyd is the voice of the character Solas, wins D.I.C.E. Award Game of the Year. The game also won outstanding achievement in game direction and role-playing, as well as massively multiplayer game of the year. D.I.C.E. Awards are considerated the Oscar of the videogame industry.
