Jeffro Hardwick

Jeffro Hardwick is a sixth generation Texan that has recently stepped out from behind the cameras to try his hand at acting. He is in the process of filming a part in the television series "They Call Me Marshal" directed by Carlos Leos. Filming is being done in Blanco, Texas at the Buggy Barn as the series is in pre-production. He recently completed a guest role in the film "House of Abraham" as an attorney. The film was shot in Bastrop and was directed by Lisa Belcher, Jump Rock Films, Austin, Texas In October 2022, he was a costar in the short film "Out of Gas" where he played Cletus, one of the three stars of the film. He also received assistant director and stunt credits. The film was directed By Dave Crowe and White Crowe Films. In 2020, Jeffro set up his 1894 chuck wagon and served a cowboy breakfast to over 750 attendees to the San Antonio rodeo. He was also featured on the San Antonio Live television broadcast doing a cooking demonstration and promoting the upcoming rodeo. He is usually busy on the National Day of the Cowboy cooking and discussing life on the trail in the 1860's with guests at various venues across the state. Jeffro has been the featured chef at Trappings of Texas, the annual fundraiser for the Museum of Big Bend at Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas. The Saturday night fundraiser is attended by over 250 people. He also cooks a cowboy breakfast at The Big Bend Saddlery and a noontime calf-fry lunch for Spradley Hats in Alpine. He owns and operates Purgatory Provisions, LLC, a small catering outfit based in New Braunfels, Texas. He also offers spice blends and custom sauces that has become a very successful endeavor. Jeffro also operates EKGR, a 501©3 that is dedicated to teaching 4th and 5th grade Texans about Texas history and preserving Texas history as accurately as possible. Jeffro is also the Director of Clinical Programs for United Healthcare and serves as a Life Safety Code surveyor for Medicare. And the boy can cook some brisket too, known far and wide as an expert pit master and spiceolgist.
